Public Lighting Design was engaged to develop the pathway lighting design for Artisan Park, a central feature of YarraBend, a 16.46-hectare mixed-use development in Alphington by Glenvill Homes. Our role was ensuring that the lighting solution met council requirements and Australian standards.
Our involvement in the project followed previous difficulties encountered by the initial designers, who faced delays in obtaining council approval. By leveraging our expertise in compliance and technical design, we successfully resolved these issues, allowing the project to progress smoothly.
Public Lighting Design conducted a comprehensive assessment of the site to ensure compliance with AS/NZS 1158.3.1:2020 standards. Following this, a detailed electrical public lighting design plan was developed, incorporating a compliant underground cable layout. This design was tailored for council and client review and approval, ensuring all infrastructure elements aligned with regulatory requirements.
To support project planning and execution, we provided a detailed, itemised list of quantities for the lighting installation, enabling accurate budgeting and procurement. Our team also maintained close coordination with other services, proactively identifying and resolving potential conflicts with existing infrastructure. This collaborative approach ensured a seamless and efficient implementation process, ultimately delivering a high-quality and fully compliant lighting solution for Artisan Park.
