Public Lighting Design was engaged by Hume City Council to design the outdoor carpark lighting design for the Craigieburn Sports Stadium expansion. The project aimed to enhance community facilities, improve accessibility, and promote health and wellbeing through upgraded infrastructure.

To ensure compliance and optimal performance, we conducted a comprehensive lighting assessment in accordance with AS/NZS 1158.3.1:2020, subcategory PC2.

Public Lighting Design developed detailed electrical public lighting plans, aligning them with the civil plans and council’s approved lighting assessment. The design included a compliant underground cable layout, ensuring reliability and longevity for the new lighting infrastructure.

Following the completion of our plans, a certified electrical public lighting design was submitted to Hume City Council for review and approval. Additionally, our team coordinated closely with utility providers to manage the abolishment and relocation of existing assets, ensuring a seamless transition and minimal disruption to the overall project.

The final lighting solution provides safe, well-illuminated carpark access, supporting the stadium’s expanded capacity while maintaining compliance with best-practice public lighting standards.
